![]() Scandmist Filter Unit The units provide 3-stage filtration. Stages 1 & 2 are free draining media filters designed specially for the operating application and process. Stage 3 is a H13 HEPA filter (99.9% efficient at 0.2-0.3 micron) which generally ensures that the discharged air is cleaner than that in the production area. Typically air carrying pollution at around 60 mg/cu metre can be reduced to < 2 mg/cu metre. |
Oil Mist FiltersProblems with Oil Smoke, Oil Mist or Emulsion Mist emissions can be eliminated by using Scandmist Filter Units. Scandmist units are extra heavy duty Industrial Air Cleaners that efficiently separate oil fumes, oil mists and emulsion mists during continuous operation, even during extreme operating conditions. Extraction rates for single units range between 700 and 4,000 cu metres per hour. The units can be supplied with or without fans. Fan motors range from 0.37 to 5.5 kW. When larger extraction rates are required, the filters are assembled together in banks – utilising a single free-standing extraction fan. Typical Applications include: CNC Machines, Manual Machines, Process Plant, Extrusions, Hot Presses, Steel Mills, Hot Rolling Mills, Heat Treatment Plants, Cold Heading, Temperature Controlled Rooms.
